CoverMe ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the CoverMe mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Audio and video recordings you create
• Account information (email, username)
• Technical data (device info, IP address, app version)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to provide the core functionality: recording, uploading, synchronization, playback, and collaborations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Your recordings are visible only to you and users you collaborate with.

4. Data Storage

All recordings are stored on secure DigitalOcean servers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and uploaded content only as long as necessary to provide the Service:

• Audio and video recordings — stored for as long as your account is active or until you explicitly delete them.
• After account deletion or deletion request — we will permanently delete your content within 30 days.
• Technical logs and backups — may be retained for up to 90 days for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance purposes.
• Anonymous usage statistics — may be kept longer for product improvement.

Once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
